Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information, and the choices you have.
Effective date: November 2, 2026 | Last updated: November 2, 2026
1. Who we are
This policy explains how KSE Door Mechanics ("KSE," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through ksedoormechanics.com and when you call, text or email us. We are a garage door service company located at 1433 Highland Ave, Needham, MA 02492, serving customers in Boston, Massachusetts.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us through our forms, by phone, text or email: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and neighborhood, service address, the service you need, preferred contact method, and anything you write in your message. If you hire us, we also keep job details, estimates, contracts and payment records.
Information collected automatically when you visit: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages requested, which our hosting provider may log for security and operations.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or payment card numbers through our website forms. Please do not send them.
3. How we use information
- respond to your inquiry and schedule, perform and follow up on service;
- prepare estimates and written contracts and process payments;
- send service-related messages such as appointment confirmations and arrival updates;
- maintain the security of our website and prevent spam and fraud;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not knowingly collect or sell precise geolocation data.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Formspree, which processes form submissions and delivers them to us (see Formspree's privacy policy);
- Email, phone and scheduling providers we use to communicate with you;
- Professional advisers, insurers and payment processors where necessary;
- Government or legal authorities when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
If our business is sold or reorganized, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
5. Calls and text messages
By submitting a form or giving us your number, you agree we may call or text you about your request, as allowed by the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, or tell us on a call not to contact you. Consent is not required to buy anything from us.
Massachusetts requires all parties to consent before a call is recorded (M.G.L. c. 272, § 99). We do not record calls without telling you at the start of the call. We honor requests to be added to our internal do-not-call list.
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. We treat browser signals such as Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale or sharing, although we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
7. Security and data breaches
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to our size and the sensitivity of the data, consistent with the Massachusetts data security regulation, 201 CMR 17.00. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
If a breach affects the personal information of Massachusetts residents, we will notify affected individuals and the Massachusetts Attorney General and Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation as required by M.G.L. c. 93H.
8. Retention and disposal
We keep inquiries and customer records only as long as needed for the purposes above, and to meet tax, warranty, contract and legal requirements. When records are no longer needed, we destroy or erase them so they cannot be read or reconstructed, as required by M.G.L. c. 93I.
9. Your rights and choices
Whether or not a law requires it, we will, on request:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal, tax or warranty reasons;
- stop marketing calls, texts and emails.
Massachusetts is considering a comprehensive consumer data privacy law. If and when it applies to us, we will comply and update this policy. Use the form below or contact us directly. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
10. Children
Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (see the federal COPPA rule). If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party sites
Our pages link to Google Maps and to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
